And I am still a little uneasy when you say a horse was "at the top" of the readouts. Based on things you have said previously lead me to believe you are looking at the rankings, which are always ordered by the "early" or "EP" column, and saying that is "the top". Horses "at the top" would only be the correct horses to play if the variegate is "EARLY". Other than that, they may not be the "top" horses. I hope you understand what I mean.

I didn't mean top in the rankings as only look at that now if race is early. Lets say in general looking at PP'S if you have a contender that does not fare well at today's distance will you still consider it as a win bet. Your right about the other question it was too confusing Shoeless |

Have you tried writing down on a peace of paper all you wager decisions ? Maybe make a wager decision form and circle all your win bets. Always focus on your winning decisions , Another helpful thing for you is write down next to Energy's win contenders, whether you feel it is a positive or negative bet, If you bet a horse at 5/2 Is this a positive? It probably is , so you should make a full bet, If you come up with a 9/1 this is a big positive cause even at just a $2 bet you are going to make a 16 dollar profit, By and large the best thing to do to improve your confidence is to focus on your wins The best to you. EXDC or EXDCX were 2 of the best programs that came out of the early Sartin methodology. I use to use Energy for the long forgotten BRIS contests and placed 12th and 13th out of thousands of participants many years ago. The complexity of todays race cards makes horse racing quite a challenge. Most software products fall short of the mark. However, I am finding that the Sartin Methodology still holds up if you are selective in what type of races you choose to play and the software you choose to play them with. I will use EXDCX every so often. I like the preplay and Thoromation screens as well as the odds projector. Bill, as you said, they are still great programs. I hope you are feeling better. |
