2 year old Champ, Good Magic needs some points to get into the "Big Dance"
In last year's Breeders Cup for 2 year old colts, I don't know what happened to Bolt D' Oro in the race. He had ran a huge race prior to the BC.

I don't like the 2nd fractions out of the Breeder's Cup race for Good Magic. In the early pace; they sped quickly to 46 and change than it seems they ran into a strong "headwind" as the 6 Furlong fractions was 1:12.

Same goes for Free Drop Billy's 2nd pace line back out of Audible's winning race.

47 for 4 furlongs followed by a weak 1:12 fractions for 6 furlongs-will be vulnerable in Graded competitions....

I am more impressed with Flameaway's "body of work" in the last two races.

In the the 2nd pace line back, Flameaway expended his energy early in a winning race and in the last pace line, off a very slow early pace, Flameaway changed his energy exertion to late; coming in 2nd. Today, he should be primed for a major effort.

Kanthaka comes off a very fast 7 furlong race in his second pace line back even though, Kanthaka closed off the pace.

My two choices in this match-up are Flameaway and Kanthaka.

Went as expected, bet was good. Winner did answer several questions and is just as good as a 3 yr old as he was at 2. Risk verses reward for many questions was very poor.

Even with good analysis and betting no $$, that's all you can do in this game.

Onward,
