Exotic Wagering Strategies
In another thread yesterday, someone mentioned a guide to 10-cent Superfecta Wagering, so I thought I would collect some links to various Exotic Wagering Strategies in its own Topic. Here are a few links I have collected. Feel free to add more links, or elaborate on various strategies you use successfully.

Exotic Wagering Strategies
Ted, i have found the exotic calculator invaluable. It doesn't require much space
if one wishes to place it on one's desktop. You can calculate most wagers up to a place 9. It will display the bet amounts from $1 up to $7 increments. If you wish to play .10 cent exotics, calculate the $1 bet and divide the total bet by 10. Bob C Last edited by Bob Cochran; 03-21-2010 at 12:52 PM. Reason: typo |

Bob,
I use this too! Actually, I think the linked version has buttons for .10 .20 .50 supers, so no division required. Ted

another great guide
It used to be in your library and I referenced it a number of times. If I get the name wrong please correct me, "55% solution"?
Great ideas on getting the place horse for exactas. If it goes up again, I'll definitely re-read it. Chris |

Wow, don't know how that manual got misplaced (or for how long ). Anyway, it's found, and back in the Manuals section of the Library. http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6691 Ted

I was going to ask about the "The 55% Solution" for so long and now I wish I did. I kept reading and reading and reading about it in the follow ups and just figured it was one of those things not to be released. One of the early issues (in the teens) I think I had summary of it so I just was going off of that.

Thanks Ted
I was hoping it wasn't lost somewhere. I think it disappeared when you changed the library over to the new section in the forumns.
Thanks again for everything you do. Chris |

I'm still reading through the "55% Solution", but one thing I implemented right away was a slight twist on the NB4. I look at the low purse, claim price and Bris race rating. I was already looking at big class drops -- 1st tag after 3 (or 1 or 2 if that's all that is available) non-tags or 25% drop in claim price. So, the NB4 fit right in. Thanks.

Welcome ranchwest. I'm really going to have to re-read that 55% manual now, it's been years! Thank you, and thanks to Chris, for prompting that.
cheers, Ted
