I am doing my own testing of using only a single line. Just a preference i prefer to work with for now while Barb and rmath use the two line method.

Belmont

I have a small 10 race Turf sample i did at Belmont. Don't have many races in my RDSS data base yet to do a larger sample.

Horses who were 1 an 2 in VDC were 8-10 80%
1 race the horse was ranked #3 in VDC.

Horse that were 1 an 2 on CSR were 6-10 60%
2 races the horse was #3 CSR
1 race the horse was ranked #4 CSR

Horses that were ranked 1 an 2 on TPP were 6-10 60%
There were two races where the horses were #4 TPP

Horses that were ranked 1 an 2 in NP S.R were 6-10 60%
2 were ranked #3
1 ranked #4

The NP S.R. can be found By hitting the NP button. Actually it is called Comp SR.

Almost forgot. I am using Best Perceptor, Last 3 Comparable to pick my pace lines.

Thanks Raceman, i am curious to the payouts of those winners as well. Not only are we looking for the most winners, we re also looking for the most winners with the best prices! Thanks for sharing what you have so far.

Oops

Forgot to do turn time. TT for the turf races.

7-10 were ranked 1 and 2 TT 70%
2 were #3 TT
1 was #4 TT.

Latekick.

As far as decent prices for the day here they are

18.00
10.00
21.80

As most of you know Belmont does not have many longshots there.Again small sample. If anyone with a larger data base wants to run with this, be my guess.

Actually Bob, they're all the same rating: CSR = Composite Speed Rating = Comp SR. The actual number is shown on the NP/NewPace screen (for those who have it), but the ranking and gap / differential from best (i.e. 0.0 = best) are shown on the BL and Entries screens.

It would not surprise me if at least some of those double-digit mutuels came from the 3rd and 4th ranks of the factors you mention.
