SA-Breeders Cup

Hey guys,
I know it's early, but wondering if anyone is going to BC at SA in October.
My brother and I will be there from Wed-Sun. We stay across the street at the Santa Anita Inn...Sweeeeet. Wake up early, have coffee on the little deck area facing the track and catch glimpses of morning works. Doesn't get much better. We have ticket confirmation and will let the group know where they are located once they are in hand.

I will be out there. I am blessed to be only a five minute drive away from the track.

Good thing you booked up your hotel early because that particular place books up very fast.

Welcome Parakeet to Pace and Cap (or do you prefer Psychotic, or perhaps Psyche). I was actually thinking of going this year, and it would be great to get back to Santa Anita, the leaves having mostly all turned by then, up here.

Cecil, it sounds like a great spot, and recommended by locals, but now I think I should start booking something soon. I haven't even got a room yet for Saratoga...

Thanks, Ted!

You can call me whatever sounds good to you. Most common ones are PP or Keet.

I just hope it is not in the 100 degree temps this year like the '03 one. That was murder standing in one place for 7 hours straight in direct sunlight and heat.

If you can't find anything in Arcadia, look for hotels in Pasadena, Monrovia or Duarte. Those cities are highly accessible to Santa Anita.
