When you do a Brohamer type model,do you include races where you lost?

Include every race you play, or types of races you intend to play.

That way, you know stuff about your kinds of races: what works, what doesn't work, and all points in between.

Hello

Hi Papa

Thanks for revisiting this thread. I have 2 spreadsheets
One has 1174 races, with over 180000 pacelines.

I gathered this data for about 4 months.
This data consists of every type of race . All I did got most of this four month period was gather data.

About a month ago I realized I really could not get anything more from a large set of races,
Especially since most of the races were not handicapped,
I was just gathering info from pace lines and races I would never have choose.

My new spreadsheet only comes from races I actually BET
win or lose, if I actually BET a non maiden race and I made all pace line and contender selection Then I added those races to my new spreadsheet

I don't include them in my models but I do go back and look to see if I missed something in my handicapping. If I am doing a 20 race cycle I do include races I lost. This in my opinion is a far better way to see how you are doing with your handicapping.

Let me clarify this. If I lost the race but the winner was in my contenders then I record those figures. If the winner was not in my contenders
I don't enter the race.
