"Early" look at California Chrome and the Pennsylvania Derby

Bill V.

Bill ,will you be at PRAX or off site at Del Mar ? . It looks like we will have a fall meet for Del Mar, great

I'm boxing a trifecta using the 4-1-8-5 in the Penn Derby.

Lots of pace to run at

I excused the Belmont, stupid distance and wear and tear from 3 Grade 1's in 5 weeks

Isn't there a rule somewhere in the methodology that says you shouldn’t bet a horse to win if it’s coming off a layoff of 90 days or more?

Hi Hoof

The only "rule" I know and it is right from Doc's mouth concerns using the Kentucky Derby pace line

Docaline.mp4

There are many statistical based "guidelines" and they should be viewed
as tools. They are class, track, surface, and distance, specific.
Just because maidens on poly track surfaces who last ran 110 days ago on the turf and are 50/1, win at track A, this does not mean it happens at track B C or D

Hoof please check you PM
I have some more info on this for you thanks

Bill

Guys, it was a tongue and cheek remark over past discussions with Bill, hence the "wink".
