Haskell Invitational Grade 1 3+ 1,000,000

My father took me to Monmouth Park when I was about 14 years old.
I had fun, The first win bet I remember was a horse named Alias Smith Jones
Later I went every year to Haskell Day, I have many souveniers and programs
My Haskell Hat collection is something my dad proudly handed down to me.

Today a group of fine 3-year-old horses have headed down highway 9
They were Born To Run

Hooray for my home state New Jersey
I am many miles away now. Living my dreams throughout the southwest
But I still am a singing "Tramps like us baby we were born to run"

Hello Bill,

Thank you for posting this race.

Although I am not a Matcher per se, I find this race interesting from a matching view point.

If you believe in timeline last race everybody else is running for second.

IWC and battle of midway should contribute to a lively early pace.

Thank you,

Paul

I've just received an email from betfair offering me a full refund if I bet on a horse in the Haskell and it loses!
OK, form downloaded!
Busy with kids right now, as per my usual for the weekend, but this race is due to go at 10:47 pm uk time so I should be good to go ny them. Will post selection.

It does have the potential for lots of early and they are my favourite!

This is looking like a lively betting event this side of the pond. Over £43k matched already on this race with hours to go.
Since I'm on a free bet, I've decided to go for price here.
The imponderable is whether or not 3 can put in a dominant early performance and go wire to wire or whether it faces enough competition from the other early types.
I'm taking 5 McCraken to pounce late. I'm also on at just over 8.5/1. Hopefully if it wins this is higher than the tote return.

Good skill to one & all!

Matchable. No need to leads. Fastest last pace belongs to the 3. Fits the race shape. Not too bad in odds around 2-1.
