RDSS 2.1 Test Results
I have been testing RDSS 2.1 since Dec 12th and so far have not encountered any operational problems. I have just concluded a 100 race test to establish how the rankings of BL/BL and all 3 RX factors performed. All results are based on my contender and paceline selections. The survey contained 70 non mdn dirt races,16 dirt mdn races, and 14 turf races. All races were for 3 & up horses. The tracks were PARX, GP, MVR, TUP and HAW.
Here are the results. Code:
BL/BL -- Ranks # #Races #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #5+ 100 21 18 20 15 11 15 RX3 Profit Line #Races #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #5+ 100 29 23 18 7 10 13 RX2 Class (CR+) #Races #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #5+ 100 27 19 18 13 9 14 RX1 ML #Races #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #5+ 100 35 16 17 11 8 13 Tim G

Test results
Thank you for posting your research. I was wondering if you can verify what i have found. That is, that rx2 performs better in grass races and rx3 is better on the dirt. My own results are primarily from the NYRA circuit.

Hi Gandalf. During this set of races they were just about even on the turf.however, I can tell you based on my extensive use of both profit line, and Bris ultimate pps that profit line is better on the dirt vs turf. It does well with FTS in mdn race while Bris does not rate them. I was mildly surprise that the morning line did as well as it did since the consistency of the track morning line makers can vary greatly while Profit and Bris rankings are computer generated.

Tim, not sure if you have this information but what was the average field size for your test group?
Thanks, Mike |

Hi Mike sorry I didn't record field size but all races had a at least 7 starters since I didn't enter any races with less then that in the survey.
