Exclamation A thought for Bill V, please.

Friends,

Our good friend and founder here, Bill V, is having some serious health issues right now - problems with his kidneys which have progressed over the past few weeks to where he must have some exploratory biopsy surgery next Wednesday to help understand further what is the problem.

He needs our good thoughts right now, as one downside of serious physical health problems is the possibility of becoming discouraged. I asked if it was OK to mention this, and he said it was - it would make him feel better. He is off the road (as a trucker) and safe at home with loved ones, waiting for the next medical steps.

Bill - your fortitude right now needs to be inner, not outer - to be strong in your mind and heart so you are there for yourself to work with whatever health regime comes next. You have been strong for others for so long, and your efforts and passion for Doc Sartin's work, your generosity to help others who ask for help, have gained you respect, admiration and love from more people than you know, from far and wide. Time to put some of that strong feeling of others in the bank and draw on it these days during whatever healing process comes next.

We don't know what lies ahead, but know every minute that you are not alone - that so many care for you. Let that buoy you up my friend.

yours,

Ted

Bill know you are surrounded by love both here and in the heavens above! You will come through this just fine and we'll get back to "Chaos and Fractals"

Karen sends her love, prayers and best wishes to both you and your folks.

Bill,

You are and will be in my prayers for you until you get thru this. Trust in the Lord and He will carry you thru. Keep smiling and don't get down. That's asking a lot but I know you can it.

Your friend,
Bud

Just got home and sorry to hear the news, Bill. Hang tough, stay positive, and we'll say a prayer. Listen to your doctors and it will all work out. I went through something similar in late 2009 with my heart which hit me completely out of left field, and it's very important to stay positive and to think about all the things you still have left to do and all the loved ones in your life.

Best wishes and prayers for you Bill.

Just another speed bump. It may slow you down a little bit now, but won't stop you.

Keep positive, it makes a big difference.
