2H. Last line down the hill at SA line 2 MS win APV/CR good Line 2
3H Long Layoff Had lead vs Grade 3 in line 2. Last line. APV/CR not so good
4H Long layoff Last in a 3 horse field on wet SA track looks like a off the turf
crap race Line 2 no because of 5.5 distance Line 3 is a MD Claim win
5H FH 0.00 - "has no grade point average" long layoff
6H All Turf Poor APV CLass
7H Hung around into the stretch last race. First back after layoff. A Plus within
a zero effort. now a nother layoff Line 2 was a MS win line APV/CR good
8H From Hastings on the Hudson only 1 line Never ran in a Maiden race APV/CR low/ good
9H Last line All lines either Plus or Plus in a zero Solid horse APV/CR good
10H See Horse 5 0.00
11H See Horse 5 and 10 If I go to line 4 what happened line 5 No line APV/CR fair
12H Long Layoff line 5 and 3 say It likes dirt better than turf line 3
13H Line 2 7.0 poly DLM fits better than 8.5 line 1 APV/CR best in field
14H Long layoff lines 1 2 3 all good at 7.0 lines 1-2 on DMR poly line 3
is best ever APV/CR Good all races in PPs are either Plus or Plus in a zero
I will use line 2 because of the return of layoff question

For setup I used #9 Master Chef's last race. And for the common distance 6F.

I could only narrow it down to seven contenders, not five.

#3 Smart Spending and #8 Taylor Said are the program choices.

#3 is coming off an extended layoff, but Carla Gaines is good with this angle. Additionally, she and Espinoza do well together. So, I'll excuse the layoff.

I see the 2, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 11 being part of the early mix, with the 9 looking the best of its 22.1-45.1-109.7 2nd back at 6.5 furlongs.

Anything that challenges this group races from 5th or 6th or at least a couple of lengths off the leaders.

The 14 has raced from 4th, 2 lengths off the lead and the 13 has closed against fast paces from 6th or so. The 9 has fought fast paces on the dirt here, so my picks are the 9 and 14 and 9, 13 and 14 in the exacta.
