Val 2 -BLBL basics video

Hi This is for a friend. Its just a basic tutorial about the BLBL
Bottom Line Betting Line I am demonstrating the BLBL in Val 2 because that is the program my friend uses.
The BLBL in RDSS2 is laid out little differently but the concepts I talk about
apply to any Sartin program that has a Bottom Line Betting line

Also, in the video I forgot to mention about the little numbers you will see
next to the horses name under the heading L D T refers to the line used as the paceline and if the race is a tandem and if the line was x= extracted or p projected

Here is the video
blbl.mp4

Here is the snapshot of the BLBL I used from the follow up

Val 4

Please note . My friend is using the updated version of Validator -Val 4
If you have a copy of Val 2 you need to contact Ted or click this link

http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6416

Val 2 is not usable. Because the speed rating scale Doc originally programmed needed to be updated and adjusted in 2006. Without Ted's 2006/Val 4 update you will not get the correct readouts .

I hardly ever use my dos validator programs anymore except for a friendly reminder of my youth. Everything I look at on Val4 is just about the same on RDSS2 in Val4 mode. There are some rounding issues but hardly worth anything, the readouts are so close .

Val 2 -BLBL basics video

Bill V.: I never had a VAL 2 nor Val4 update. I just hope that with this Val2 -
BLBL basics video, I'll try to understand much better the readouts from BLBL RDSS2 and beyond (RDSS2 Upgrades).

I say too, you did a very good job here, Bill V., I wonder how many replies can you get from this posting!

So many thanks, and GS,

DSL

Thank you Mick

Welcome aboard

Doc's Validator will always bring me many happy memories and profits
Although everything in Vaidator is mirrored in RDSS2 I still love to do races now and then with "old blue"
