OP r13 5/2/20 Arkansas Derby

OP r13 5/2/20 Arkansas Derby post time 7:43 ET

In reverse order:

6 -- Code Runner: stretches out to 9f, up in class, first after 52 day layoff, jockey switch to Elliot, BUT: figures to regress from last race => TOSS

1 -- Finnick the Fierce: up in class, second after layoff, BUT: figures to regress, comes from off the pace => TOSS

9 -- Taishan: jockey switch to Cohen, will be pressing fast early pace but struggling to keep up, appears too slow on a fast track => TOSS

10 -- Farmington Road: up in class, second after layoff, => probably too slow to win, but might close late so use on bottom in vertical exotics

7 -- Silver Prospector: stretches out to 9f, rising in class from G2 stakes, first after 49 day layoff, BUT appears Feb 17 race took a lot out of him => TOSS

4 -- King Guillermo: stretches out to 9f, rising from G2 stakes, first race after 56 day layoff, figures to regress a bit from last race, will be pressing fast early pace, but has a closing kick: => WIN BET at 9-1 or higher (doubtful), use top and bottom in vertical exotics

11 -- Wells Bayou: shortens up from 9.5f, rising from G2 stakes, fourth race after layoff, figures to improve, will be pressing fast early pace => WIN BET at 6-1 or higher (doubtful), use top and bottom in vertical exotics

3 -- Storm the Court: stretches out to 9f, rising from G2 stakes, first race after 56 day layoff, jockey switch to Prat, will be pressing fast early pace => WIN BET at 4-1 or higher, use top and bottom in vertical exotics

5 -- Nadal: stretches out to 9f, rising from G2 stakes, first race after 49 day layoff, NEEDS THE LEAD and should get it, is the speed of the speed => WIN BET at 5-2 or higher, use top and bottom in vertical exotics

Good luck.

Richard
