BL/BL or VDC

Q" Are VDC and BLBL the most 2 important "

A Not as much as the proper pace line
and contenders and final odds

On Val 4 there are 7 readout screens
each screen shows the ratings of the horses you selected

The VDC readouts function is like the x on a treasure map
You searched and followed the proper steps to get to the X

The final odds are what you can expect to find under the sand.

BLBL gives you clues to whats possibly buried
just cause you have a map and a treasure, It is possible
what you went after had no value

No readout screen is more important they each are guides to norrow
your quest to the treasure

3

the 3 readouts VDC BLBL and final odds are equal

most people will be lost with val 4 just like any other Sartin program
if they try to win with a part rather than the whole

Here is an example lets look at the Race 9 from Keeneland on 9/27
from a earlier post

I decided that the top 5 contenders were the 1 4 10 11 12

so lets say I just look at BLBL and bet my top 2
BLBL says 11 and 12 I would lose

Size: 116.5 KB

or If I went with VDC I see 4 11 and 12 all ranked with 1 = Now what ??

Name: Val5.jpg
Views: 401
Size: 76.4 KB

But looking at all my readout Energy Gen , IMC E/L I see the 1 should be
taken out do you agree ?

Size: 76.4 KB

Now I go back to BLBL and look Now I bet my top 2 and see 12 with the
11 and 4 tied Now I use the odds as a tie breaker
and bet the 12 and 4

So what is most important ? My answer all 3 Odds BLBL and VDC

Other

Some times its easy Here is Richies P's match up race from Keeneland

This time Both BLBL and VDC have the winner in the top 2

Note>. On the Dos program Val4 (not so on RDSS) VDC will 99.999% percent of the time improve a horse or the readouts will be equal to BLBL
You will most likely never see a horse with a better BLBL rank than VDC

My top 5 contenders 1 3 4 7 and 10
The BLBL screen Bet the 1 and 7 and win

VDC bet top two 1 and 7 and win
Name: MatchVDC.jpg
Views: 417
Size: 70.6 KB
so here Both VDC and BLBL are equal

Bill,

RDSS in Val4 mode (given the same DTV adjustments) should treat VDC vs BL/BL exactly the same as in the DOS Val4 program. Can you provide an example (or examples) where it is 'not so on RDSS'. I will investigate.

Thanks,

Ted

BLBL and VDC

Hi Ted

Here is the race with Dos Val 4 and RDSS2

The good news is RDSS2 gets the winner in top 2
Your RDSS2 matches the Dos Val 4 after hiding the 1

The VDC readouts are different Dos Val 4 improves the 10
and RDSS2 drops the 11 to 3rd

It's nice to see posts about getting back to the basics,I hope when Ted completes RDSS 2.0 that he will do the same.

Bill,

Been thinking about what you were saying about being lost using the programs if you only concentrate on a few screens.I have to say that
I definitely fit into that category.I never really knew how to combine all
of the screens together.
