Question Match up question?

Hi everyone!
Although I do not follow the match up 100% of the time, I do use a lot of it to get which I feel are usually the correct line to use.

Here is my main stumbling block I am hoping a matched will help me with

Ok as per Ritchie posts, I check all the first fractions and all horses truly on the lead or sometimes 2 by HD, as I have read and believe maybe the chat caller got it wrong position wise?

Ok so The best 1call is let's say 22.4

Now,my question? Do I use the corresponding 2 call, let's say it is a 45 BUT another horse.may run a faster than 45 call on the lead.but his 1st call was a slower 23. Which one would I use to get my projected call to match others up against?

I hope I explained it enough to get some competent answers from "matches"

Thanks in advance for any help. I do appreciate all the great responder s I usually get

Hi John
Go to Jim's "5 step approach" in the Hat Check:
http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5715

Look at "projecting pace" and then look at the first way to project pace. If you follow that particular "way to project" you will be in good shape I.M.O. ** Hat Helper - read the WHOLE way to do it!

All the best and hope you and yours are healthy and happy!
