Thoughts and Support for Sylvia

Hi All..

Being reluctant to post family issues again, I remember all the responses that got me through some tough times the last couple of years.
So why shouldn't this be any different in helping the best part of me..my wife!!
Sylvia was diagnosed with breast cancer on her 50Th birthday.
( Yes , she had to know and couldn't wait a few days)
So on Tuesday morning we are heading out to the City to see a surgeon at Sloan Kettering , a top hospital for cancer patients.
The initial comments from the testing facility said that it was in the early stage and it is not aggressive.
I have been strong and told her that I wasn't worried at all and things will be OK.......but you all know how women are

Please join me in a prayer ...

Prayer to Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.
For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
......................................Sylvia......................................................
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.

Mike

Mike, I redouble my prayers for Sylvia, and for all of you. Early diagnosis is a great help and should add a lot to likelihood of successful treatment. Still, it will be a trying time. Try to anticipate the best outcome.

Prayer said, Mike, and very sorry to hear the news. Sloan Kettering has excellent doctors and I know she will beat it. Stay strong.

Let us know if we can help.

Much prayers, love and a hug for Sylvia.
I have a Saint Peregrine Candle, and some water from Lazlo. I will definitely use them for her. Have faith.. For worry is the opposite.

The Saints are very important to me. As well as the prayer of St. Peregrine, St. Jude has never failed me. I will pray this Novena for Sylvia

Saint Jude Novena

May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, and loved in all the tabernacles until the end of time. Amen.

May the most Sacred Heart of Jesus be praised and glorified now and forever. Amen

St. Jude pray for us and hear our prayers. Amen.

Blessed be the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Blessed be the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Blessed be St. Jude Thaddeus, in all the world and for all Eternity.
