Computer Question
I have an 8.1 Win 64 bit computer but when I go to control panel at top
it says win 32. Does that mean it has both? If so, how do I get from 64 to 32 bit? Thanks in advance Chuck |

Not the best with advanced computer skills but here are some articles I found that could be helpful:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...5-94a3faa2e13d https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/...dows-10-a.html https://superuser.com/questions/2510...ble-in-windows Even searching your question: shorturl.at/pquQW Hope this helps Lefty!

Lefty, your computer may be capable of running a 64 bit version of Windows (e.g. Win 8.x 64 bit, or Windows 10) - BUT your particular Win 8.1 happens to be 32 bit (per the Control Panel Systems info, as you say).
Most Windows apps run in 32 bit mode (including RDSS). Few apps are exclusively 64 bit mode. That's why - re DosBox for example) - the 32-bit version runs fine in both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows, including on your 32-bit Windows 8.1 Ted

Ted, but it won't run spec or val says no races entered. So thinking it's 64 bit.

If this is a generic question about 32/64 bit versions of Windows, OK. Otherwise, see my further responses in the other thread. Ted

No problem Lefty!
Glad I could help you out man even though I know squat about advanced computer programs and technology but know how to find possible articles/links to look like I know what you were talking about. I only really know basic stuff and working with TV’s/cords (HDMI etc) like my brother HHE10.
