Hi Richard. Not surprising that the ML does well at most tracks. I believe David Argona from Timeform does the morning line in NY since Eric Donovan moved on. In my opinion one could take the 5 ml horses as their contenders and do okay at most tracks.

Its always about narrowing down even if starting with only 3 horses. Plus discipline and money management play a vital role. It takes a complete package to rise above one's peers regardless of the discipline or chosen endeavor.
This sport not only will humble you, it will expose any weakness's. Consistency of application or process, money management and the most the important one is to adapt with an open mind to new elements of the game, paves the road to success. In ability to accept new things or operating with a closed mine destroys most. The best mechanic in the world from the 1960's or so would starve as a mechanic today if he or she didn't accept new ideas. Even from year to year and today the same open mind applies as new safety feature come out yearly such as lane assist, cruise controls that maintain a certain distance and adjust to the speed of the car in front or eliminating blind spots with today's mirrors. Whoever said; "Adapt or perish" got it right. Mitch44 Last edited by Mitch44; 03-15-2020 at 08:18 AM. |
