Hawthorne giant pick 6 carryover

Hawthorne has canceled today cause of brutal weather. When they resume Friday there is a carryover of over quarter million dollars.

Thanks Rich

I like this track Been doing well there Perfect for a nice late in the day break
race or .Reminds me of running down to the Meadowlands to
catch a few late races at Philly What is hard is freezing all day
in the truck then watch horse run in the snow and it sure looks cold
there!!!

Both sprints and routes patterns on the late / early graph
remind me of my philly days
about 9-13 early for sprints and
just a little late for routes

Hey maybe we can turn this thread into a feedback thread where EVERYONE is welcome to chime in with any thoughts/readouts etc on any or all of the races involved in the pick 6 sequence.

Hawthorne does a lot of stuff right including the card being available now with all data suppliers to give plenty of time to work the races. Christmas Eve and Christmas day there will be NO T-bred racing.

Best of my knowledge it will be races 5-10 on Friday.

Here are the entries.

Merry Christmas to all Pace and Cap guys and gals. May your wildest dreams come true.

1st leg

Race 5 that starts the sequence:

1) Raw matching the #5 Jim's Trippin is complete standout. Fplr+3 call fighting. There is nobody else.Forget about 5/1 that the ml says. This guy will be hammered at the windows imo.

2) Spec160/50V readout is also attached.VERY simple 4 horse contender mix for wagercappers etc. Tpr, Segment and Bl/Bl tabs are shown.

Hawthorne 5th race 12-26-08

Your analysis looks good Rich, but there are three things which causes me concern about the #5 horse in the 1st leg of the P6

1. PP #4 last race, started 1st and failed to get the lead in a 5 horse field
2. comments after running line states the horse was 5 wide in the lane ?
3. The horse ran well against a fast pace, yet failed to run to par.?,
The only 2 horses who have ran to par are #'s 2 and 3.

my concern is this horse may have been running wide around the turn
as some green 2 year olds perform. This bothers me. #5 horse appears
to be somewhat vulnerable as a "favorite". Hope i'm not being paranoid.

IMHO

Hawthorne Big P6

Hello Richie and Merry Christmas to you and your family. I really like your look on the 5th for HAW Richie. I really like the #3 and #6 in here. They seem to have the Best Early lick of late and they show reasonable Energy and Form. I am also a bit worried about the #9 Forced Action (FTS). He shows to be in decent form for placement with this group. I hope that he doesn't factor though. I feel pretty good about this card. Almost all sprints of 6 or 6.5 furlongs.. Nice. Should be a lot of action on that P6 with the pool being nearly 250k...

Good skill to all.

Warm Regards and Merry Christmas.

Not sure i trust Jim's Trippin last line, 21.2 - 44.2 compared to other Haw 6f races in PP's it looks mighty fast - track, weather assisted???

intuition, funny feeling stuff going on Richie

anyway, here's my contenders for R5

Interesting take from a Formalist.

I haven't watched the race but, IMO, an inexperienced horse turning in a good effort while wide and running greenly is a GOOD thing, as improvement can typically be expected.

'may have been running wide'? the tape will reveal the truth.
