Ted re: the 9

Did you notice that if you mark line 1 for this horse so that it shows up in the contender array that when you hit ADJUSTED that this horse does not adjust to today's distance (you probably knew that already) but also that the number of lengths ahead do not show as "0" like the other horses in the lead are shown. So if you wanted to look at the adjusted line and just concentrated on lengths behind you might get confused because the 9 would show as being 5+ lengths behind on this screen when in reality he was leading by that number of lengths.

Not a biggy, but when you have the chance to at least compare final times as the only available measure the adjusted time for today's distance would be nice.. Of course you could always add 6.4 seconds per furlong to adjust manually.

Have a good one today. I gotta see the A's and Cubs in the Arizona sunshine!

Bill,

Yes I see that. It's a glitch in the current version that you can select that unusable line for that horse at all with Spacebar+click (i.e. no sectional times). I'll fix it (i.e. beaten lengths s/b 0), though I intend to permit these kinds of lines to appear in the readouts (minus velocity derived computations) because other useful analysis can be performed (earnings related, tote related, condition, etc).

Thanks for the heads up!

(Hope your teams wins in AZ).

Ted

Best Actor broke through his 2YO top in his second race as a 3YO. That's a good sign.

His last race was a new top, but a small one -- 162.81 -- compared to his previous top of 161.25. That's also good, too big a top will knock the wind out his sails.

He ran respectively against the fastest pace he's faced in his last race.

Notice the second call improvement. He went from 55.5 to 55.8.

This is an explosive three year old. Is today the day he explodes? I have no idea, but at 20-1 I won't ignore him.

Ok, I will use my 3 key horses and repeat them with other contenders in
legs 2-4 as follows:

.10 Superfecta

3-7-11 / 3-7-9-11 /3-5-7-9-11 / 3-5-6-7-9-11 which costs 8.10

I have a Superfecta Wagering Guide that shows all the various combos.
If you are interested you can purchase online from the Gamblers book club.
