Even when I uncheck the #2 and it shows up as running, It still does not appear on the Excel export spreadsheet

It's a bug. The #1 horse was an early scratch and not even listed in the data received from TrackMaster. Only Santa Anita and Del Mar exclude early scratches from the Entries listing. So -- when the first horse in the race was showing as scratched by the tote system, well the first horse RDSS gets in this race from TrackMaster is ... the #2 horse. So it showed up as scratched.

This has been on my list to fix for some time but I have to change the whole way I get and apply live scratches. I will get it done.

Bill - if you want to export it to your model sheets, you could try reassembling that race today, when it is not the current-day race and the tote/scratch checking system will not apply to it. That should result in the #2 horse not showing as scratched.

Bottom line - for SA and DMR, in races with Early scratches and thus missing horse numbers, data from the tote and live scratch checking system may be inaccurate at the moment.
