Hill n' Dale Stakes

Just for laughs I did this race with Phase III (which I think I got from Tom several eons ago). The second choice on the morning line looks very strong.

An interesting exercise would be to watch replays of the races last year where the 2nd choice (Milwaukee Appeal) matched up against the 1st choice (Tasty Temptation). Needless to say, with anything REMOTELY approximating a decent trip for TT, she BURIES MA. Notice, this doesn't really depend on whether TT and MA get comparable trips but only on whether TT gets a trip that's not RIDICULOUSLY BAD -- like she got in a few of those matchups last year. Of course, since Patrick Husband (a/k/a RETARDO) is on TT, yet again, just about anything can happen. It's just beyond comprehension that the connections of TT continue to ride this IDIOT after he cost them a ton of money last year with his rides on her. And he needlessly abused her, as well.

Of course, another way to go would be to just plug in the pacelines and go with it.

Ground covered (feet) in relation to the winner by the others (by order of finish):

- 55
-37
-26
-20

So, TT ran about SIX lengths MORE than MA. This actually is an improvement (if memory serves me correctly) over some of her races last year when she ran (significantly) more in comparison to MA.

Husbands gave her the typical ride: widest 1st turn, widest NO COVER, while MA was drafting behind La Rocca, the entire backstretch and widest on the 2nd turn.

I got a kick out of the connections after the race. Casse, the trainer, thought that TT was a much improved horse this year and actually BOUNCED in the race.

duhhhhhhhhhh

Clearly, neither Mr Casse nor the group of owners, have watched some of her races from last year.

Husbands will break her down, yet.
