Fulcrum review

This is race 3 from GP going off in about an hour today 12/14

Who is the fulcrum POR

That is who ran the fastest EPR from today's track and distance and ran competitively (less than 5 beaten lengths ) at both the second call and final time,

The answer is horse 6 Skippy, the 2/1 ML favorite

The POR Fulcrum for this race is a 93

Now who can run well after facing a 93 EPR Its Skippy

This is the fulcrum method I use Its from Pace Makes The Race

Lets see how race 3 goes . I say we will see pretty close to a 46.1 or 93 EPR

Good Skill

Por

That was a easy example ,,, The concept works and that is the lesson

The fulcrum # 6 horse, Skippy did set the POR EPR at 45.98 not exactly
46.1 but very close,

Now the fulcrum method is a contender identifier

Who can compete against today's fulcrum POR ?

Here is the winner #9
Recent form is an issue, She seems like she did not like shipping to GWP
Now back at GP look at the POR in the lines where she did run well.

She sure can run well against a 46.1 or so POR.

Thanks Bill

Hi Bill

Glad to see your back posting in this area I have a few questions

Even though the 9 only competed 1 time successfully against the fulcrum
in the PP'S you would give it consideration for win

Also let's say for instance a horse has a 2 point EPR advantage how can
you best correlate if it can wire the field

Thanks
Jeff

Hey Jeff
If the horse with the 2 point EPR runs positionaly first or 2nd and has a good LPR rating, and is a 6 7 or 8 QSP, I would look at its early late stick, and med energy.
If the E/L is not too far balance early and med energy is 70 or less
I would also look at the top 3 Total Energy horses and see how well their numbers and balance compares,
That is how I look to see a potential wire to wire horse

Helpful post!

Bill,

I have been using your approach, i.e. Original and TPR screens stacked, to check the computer-assigned RS and to set the projected 2C pace. The "sticks" help to verify/change the running styles and the TPR screen provides "adjusted" numbers to work with. Of course, the Adjusted screen would serve too. (I wish the pace projection buttons were on other screens besides the Original.)

Thank you for the post.
