Barb Craven is under the weather

Your friend and my friend, Barb Craven, is in the hospital. She has a rather serious condition, a pulomanary embolism in her right lung. She seems to be making good progress. All her lines have been removed. She is on blood thinners and of course she will be ready to go home when they are ready to let her go. She is in good spirits and say she can't stay in the hospital too long she has too much to do. Now isn't that a winning attitude.

I know that she will be in all our thoughts, prayers, and healing intentions. She is a dear person.

Well, Barb, this getting old business is no fun. Tell me about it! I'm glad everything appears to be under control and you're coming home soon. Go easy on the recovery and don't wear yourself out. We need you ready to go to Saratoga Springs in a few months.

Barb,

You need to get outta that place and continue kicking some younger handicapping butts in this week's installment of the PAIHL contest.

Mine has been significantly humbled by your fine work,

Best regards,

Bill

Glad to hear you are on the mend, please be patient and take all the time necessary, but I too will have all my thoughts and prayers I can muster sent your way, just in case, and wish you nothing but a complete recovery.

Hope you're feeling better, Barb. Take your time with recovery. There's always more races to handicap and if you need to do the next one, I think the hospital has wifi.

Wishing you well.
