Mandatory 'Jackpot' Payout Tracking

This is a Thread for reporting when a 'jackpot' type wager (single-winner-only) must be paid out, regardless of how many winners. This includes wagers such as Super Hi5, Pick 6 Jackpot, Pick 9 Jackpot, etc. Typically, these jackpot wagers will have a sizable carryover. The mandatory payout makes it even more interesting to play that day because someone must win. Often this comes towards the end of a race meet, or perhaps on other big race days.

For example, on July 6, Woodbine had a mandatory payout of their Super Hi 5 carryover on the Queens Plate (pool: $614,000).

This info is readily available in the racing press, or at individual track websites. With many eyes on the lookout for these opportunities, we can 'crowd source' the info and put it here to take advantage of.

Here is a listing of various track's web pages where these kinds of 'jackpot' pools are mentioned. Let's monitor these and others with sizable Carryovers for mandatory payout dates:

Woodbine (Super H5): http://www.woodbineentertainment.com...kpot-Hi-5.aspx
Gulfstream (P6):
Arlington (Super H5, P9):
Monmouth (P6):
Sacramento (Super H5, P6): Mandatory Payouts on July 20th

Good luck all!

Ted

Just received this info from NHPLAY:
California State Fair (Sacramento) Friday, July 11 through Sunday, July 20th - Mandatory Payouts on July 20th

This summer CARF is introducing the Gold Rush Pick 6 unique ticket wager. The wager has a .20 minimum bet with a 25.02% takeout with 40% of the net pool paying out daily to the tickets with the most winners when there are multiple tickets with 60% of the net pool designated for the carryover on those days. On days when there is only one unique ticket selecting six winners the entire net pool and carryover is paid to the holder of the unique ticket. The unique ticket can have multiple winning combinations or be at a higher base amount than .20 and still win the jackpot carryover providing it is the only ticket with the winning combinations.

CARF is also introducing a Super High 5 unique ticket wager this summer. The wager has a .20 minimum bet with a 25.02% takeout with 40% of the net pool paying out daily to the tickets that correctly selects the first five finishers in a race when there are multiple tickets with 60% of the net pool designated for the carryover on those days. On days when no one correctly selects the first five finishers in a race the entire net pool is designated to the carryover. When there is only one unique ticket selecting the first five finishers in a race the entire net pool and carryover is paid to the holder of the unique ticket correctly selecting the first five finishers in the race. The unique ticket can have multiple winning combinations or be at a higher base amount than .20 and still win the jackpot carryover providing it is the only ticket with the winning combinations.

Hey Ted, I wouldn't mind trying my luck on the 20-cents pick6 at Sacramento, but it does not appear as an active track in data center . Is there a different name for it?

Actually, for any track, I think the key part is simply clicking on the Display Available Cards button, to reach out to the TrackMaster server and find out what is available. Then highlight the track you're interested in. You don't actually have to highlight ALL tracks - it just helps make the point.

Good luck too!

Ted

Exclamation Gulfstream Park 9/11 - Mandatory Payouts Today

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – A mandatory payout of the 20-cent Rainbow 6, 50-cent Pick 5 and $1 Super Hi 5 will take place Thursday, September 11 at Gulfstream Park.

A $150,000 carryover jackpot pool will be guaranteed Thursday for a bettor who holds the only ticket with all six winners of the final six races – although it is estimated that the Rainbow 6 pool could climb to $500,000 or more. Should no one hold a unique ticket with all of the winners of Thursday’s six-race sequence (Races 5-10), those bettors holding tickets with the most winners will share in the entire pool.

There will also be mandatory payouts for both the 50-cent Pick 5 (Races 6-10) and the $1 Super Hi Five (Race 10).

The Super Hi 5 has a carryover of $43,478.55.

The Rainbow 6 was last solved by one lucky bettor who cashed for $40,807.18. on Aug. 7. The Rainbow 6 produced an all-time Pick 6 wagering record on May 25, when the popular multi-race bet paid $6.6 million.

Thursday marks the final day of Gulfstream Park’s not-for-profit meeting. Live racing will continue uninterrupted on Friday, when Rainbow 6 wagering will start anew with a $50,000 carryover pool guarantee.
