Trackmaster speed ratings for Euros in question

This info is from the Arlington Million card last weekend. How can a horse that beat another horse get a lower speed rating from the same race?

Bill,

This sounds like an excellent question to ask TrackMaster (info@trackmaster.com) Their own products should show the same TrackMaster SRs as RDSS, so they should be able to follow up.

It's hard to tell because we don't alwasy get race numbers, but these horses were actaully in different races on that day. Jakkalberry was in the
Dubai Sheema Classic, Wigmore Hall was in the Duty Free.

The first answer might be correct, I did not bother to go back and check, but the point is, especially for the Breeder's Cup coming up, how are we to get any feeling for how good the Euros are with this kind of haphazard informational reporting? IF it is a TRackmaster problem and not an interpretational issue with the way RDSS interprets the Trackmaster data, shouldn't there be better info made available?

It is afterall, a representation of Trackmaster data that is being relied upon. This would certainly affect anyone using New Pace numbers!!

On a related subject, it just amazes me that someone has not taken the race tapes for the Euro races and timed them for some kind of transcription that could be used by US bettors whether or not they use RDSS or any other pace related evaluation method.

End of rant...

Regards,

bill
