Paynter

Watched a touching story about Paynter yesterday. It appears he was a pretty sick pony for a while but managed to battle back. He's racing in the 12th today and going off at 12/1 ml.

To say Paynter was "pretty sick" is a mega understatement. The owner is to be commended for his fortitude and monetary investment in staying with the horse in that fight for recovery. MOST would have just put him down and moved on to another candidate.
