restart followup
selecting CD 5/4/2013 will still not give me a card summary screen or tab
goes to the last race I was looking at does give me tabs for all races I "tested" the cache mgmt by deleting SA 1/4/2013 which had been assembled as an entire card I get the correct pages - card summary, etc implied issue - entire card MUST assembled first restart cleans up the races; but doesn't set up the card summary correctly. thanks bob |

Bob,
And this has only ever happened to you on this one card CD May4, 2013? Never previously or on any other card? I no longer have Beta2.5 active, but would appreciate hearing from others who may have had this problem, on RDSS2 Beta2.5 or the new Beta2.6. I have no problems with normal program flow using Beta2.6. I would ask if you are sure you deleted the entire cache folder for that card, but it seems clear you have. You certainly don't need to assemble ALL races on a card - just the race(s) you re interested in. You are welcomed to email me and we can look at it in TeamViewer. Otherwise, you could try Beta2.6 (but check the Bugs page). Ted

Ted
Should have added that this is the first time I've tried 1 - to select only one race without assembling the card 2 - use cache mgmt to delete a card - in this case, with only one race assembled Bob |

I have it, I think
I think I have it
race 13 pushes the card summ tab off my screen without any way to get it back other than restart (no horizontal scroll) tried this with a different day - same thing had the race cards by date panel open found a day that had races extending off the screen chose the last race - this pushed card summ off the screen settings I use - 1024x768 changed my settings to 1152x864 still won't fit all tabs with cards by date open ----- been getting this error when exiting rdss2 (not all the time; but reoccurring) appname rdss2.exe appver 2.0.2.12 modname pbvm115.dll modver 11.5.0.2506 offset 0012462b |

Bob,
With a horizontal screen res that low (1152 or 1024) you are going to have regular troubles seeing everything, including not only the Card Summary screen but also several of the Horse and Analysis screens. The solution is to minimize the Sidebar at the left after you have gotten to a desired Card Summary (click the red arrow to the left of the RDSS Desktop Tab, or use the button on the RDSS Desktop). That gives you 20-25% more screen width. Re the crash error - try turning Sound off (Configure Tab) and let me know if that changes things on an ongoing basis. Ted

Thanks. For now consider it my problem, not yours. errors may be related to my using XP in virtualbox on a Mac. Annoying; but rdss doesn't seem to be affected by the errors. different error this time. modname msvcr71.dll modver 7.10.3052.4 offset 00010571 I have sound off - zoom at 95% I use 1024 window for xp - mac is 21" at 1680x1050 max - this leaves space to have a few things open and visible side by side may try virtualbox seamless mode which would use the whole monitor for what it's worth: virtualbox has default audio as driver: coreaudio (Apple) - (other choice is null driver) controller: ich ac97 - (other choice is soundblaster 16) Bob |
