Charles Town race 3 Friday 4/17
Did anyone watch the replay from this race. I had the feed going waiting for the races to start and noticed the 5 horse lost his rider at the start. Then was 6th at the 1/4, 5th at the 1/2 and 4th at the top of the stretch. He then moved to the outside to get by a tiring horse and finished the race in third

I wonder whether anybody has ever considered jockeyless races, like greyhound racing. You'd have a moving carrot. Probably too dangerous but that would really let the concepts in racing taught here come to the fore.

On the same subject, check out the 9th at Tampa that just finished. 2 jockeyless came in third and 4th. There is much mentioned in the followups that jockeys don't matter. Both horses pretty much knew what to do.
