Christmas Eve 2017

Greetings to all

I hope we all had the best holiday. My Christmas was far from normal for me, It was tough the last few days before Christmas eve. I worried and was sad that I was wrecking everyone's traditions and get together party. After all, There I was planted in my chair with the lighted tree, the decorations, and the stockings hung by the fire.
But from the love of my family, I got the greatest gift. They carried on as normal. Yes, because of me needing so much attention and care, It was hard work for them to do all their shopping and cooking and visiting,
I was wrong, and that was the best gift
I saw the love that a family cherishes, It showed me that Christmas brings out a love and joy and happy times for all.
I was able to sit up and attend my sister and brother in laws traditional Christmas eve party. The house was full of their friends and family.
Everybody wished me well for my recovery Everything was a nice as any other year.
I had to go to bed early, so my dad and my brother in law helped me to my bed room upstairs. I went right to sleep. but the crowd partied on.
When I woke up a few hours later, just around midnight, I could hear the party was still going on I just laid there and was so overtaken with joy.
Christmas was here, I came so close to not seeing this one. But in the end
I saw what Christmas means. That I was not a burden, I have so much to live for. That God blessed everyone.
God Bless you, Now lets look forward to 2018

What a great story.
Family is the greatest thing to share Christmas and LIFE with.
I am very happy to hear that you are recovering and that you have such a great support group to help.
My wife and I and many members of our church are praying for you and for your full recovery.
Best wishes

No I missed that, But I told dad and he laughed, He said he use to watch
Tony Black win lots of races at Monmouth GardenState and Atlantic City
He was amazed Tony was 66 and still going.
