FEB 18 Match-Up Race

Here we are going with a little more than the match up.....
when you follow a track, sometimes the intangibles pop up..

Race 4

This is a non-winners of 3 lifetime
sometimes horses get stuck in a condition for a while...
this is the case for the favorite #8
So there's a good chance that he might lose today...
The intangible is #4 , yesterday this Tr/Jk combo hit a $20+ winner
Second race over track ....he sure fits a good match up here

Good Luck
Mike

Thanks for posting Mike. Good to see you back here.

The 3,4,7, and 8 are my contenders.

The 7 should get loose but loves to stop and has run slow third fractions. OUT.

The 3 has routed well and has run some dirt races in her past. Her works on the dirt are good. CONTENDER.

The 4 has run on the dirt and not very well. But, she got the lead that day and that's not where she lives. No works on the dirt. Mike, your signature line implies she's trying to do something she's never done before. CONTENDER.

I'm with you Mike on the 8. She seems to be tailing off. OUT.

This leaves me the 3 and 4. I have questions about the 4. The 3 is my pick.

While the 8 was the best horse I was suspicious of it running a career high as a 5 yr. old and the fact that after running a big race in last, due to B added, it wasn't moving up in class. If the horse is still the same it has plenty of upside from the equ. change. Why run it back for 8,000. Plus its odds figured to be a bet down favorite. Probably was claimed as there are some sharp trainers that can observe a horse and determine their present state.

Just before post odds on the 8 were better than I thought they would be so I did
something unusual and figured I could still make some money. I bet my three top picks instead of two horses. Naturally after I bet the 8 odds dropped.
