Winter Contest: AQU Inner Pick4 at PaceAdvantage.com

Folks, once again I am sponsoring a Contest at PaceAdvantage.com - the RDSS 2016 Ridersup Memorial Aqueduct Inner Pick 4 Challenge.

The Contest runs weekends and Holidays and involves selections in either the Early or the Late Pick4 wager at Aqueduct Inner throughout the winter meet.

The Prize Fund is $400, as follows:

Main Prize Money Distribution :
1st Place - $200.00
2nd Place - $125.00
3rd Place - $75.00

Plus: $300 additional BONUS prizes to the Top 3 finishers if they are also RDSS Subscribers as at March 1, 2016:

1st Place - $150 bonus prize
2nd Place - $100 bonus prize
3rd Place - $50 bonus prize

There is no signup required but you DO have to be a registered member at PaceAdvantage. PaceAdvantage is a general interest handicapping discussion forum (register here: www.paceadvantage.com). You don't have to play every week, but you do have to play at least 10 days to qualify for prizes.

Here is the Contest Forum where you can read the rules and make your selections in threads dedicated to each Contest day: http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/f...play.php?f=104

If you are having trouble signing up (or it's delayed), just let me know and I'll try to light a few fires over there ...

I placed 2nd in this Contest in 2014 (only because there is a $5000 cap on payoffs: I hit 2 of those for over $20,000 actual total). I am planning to bet cash on my Pick 4 selections this year!

Good luck, good skill to everyone!

Ted

Sign the RDSS Poll

Of course, I am doing this to showcase the effectiveness of RDSS and to get a bit of (though not TOO much) new business. Also to demonstrate some of the new toys in the upcoming RDSS 2.1. I will be releasing more info here first, of course, including some videos, screen shots and a feature list and road map for where I want to go for 2016. Stay tuned in January!

Speaking of promoting RDSS, I want to mention a Poll at PaceAdvantage where people have identified their main software tool. Some of you will have already signed this poll (Thank You!) and RDSS is listed right at the top in popularity. If you have not signed the poll and would like to show your support, may I encourage you to go over to PaceAdvantage (again, you have to register) and sign the Poll.

The Poll is --> HERE.

tickets

Hey This contest sounds great.
Ted, can you give an example of how you usually
stucture your pick 4 tickets
I hit one pick 4 a few years ago in the PA contest .
I went 4×4×4×3 I think it cost $192
It paid 23,000 which was good enough for 4th place finish
and a baseball hat .
MONEY PRICES NOW !!

Hi Bill,

I hope it was a gold-braided baseball hat ...

Here was my selection from 12/14/2013,

Late Pick 4

$12 -- 2-10 / 3-12 / 1-5 / 1-15 = $192
$1 -- 2/3/1/1-2-3-4-7-8-12-15 = $8

= $200 (10-3-5-1 paid $14,262)

Your basic 'cave man' approach! It helped I had the horses in a lucky 2x2x2x2 format, though that is not usually the case. I don't want to do that this year. Instead, I have been working with several Pick 3,4,5,6 ticket construction tools to optimize tickets given a ranking system for race contenders (the A-B-C, single, concept) and some other optimization concepts, and for a stated wager budget. I am trying to see how I can include these horizontal wager construction tools in RDSS over the course of 2016, integrated with the Analysis screens and connected to various ADW file upload queues (for automatic submission).

So that's one of the reasons I am interested in this Contest - the formality of actually working on these ideas on a regular basis. (Plus I need the money ).

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Ted

There are many more contest days, so if you missed the first couple, it is not too late. Let Ted or I know what your paceadvantage name is so that I can add (RDSS) after it. This will help Ted with his Bonus for subscribers.
