Well I did it again I guess you cant teach old dog new tricks. The 9 was 6-5 so that was el paso and the 4 won at 7-1,I sat it out.Just follow my readouts you will make a fortune.Jeff

but you can

Hi Jeff

Nice work, I'm still standing by my feelings, The readouts your
showing to me show a 2 horse race with the 9 as the top pick
but the 4 a solid choice at 6/1 as the best E on your line score and odds line
But here is what I see, this is all based on your pacelines
and contender selection
I think your doing real well

Bill

Bill,Thanks. It just gets discouraging when Im not taking advantage of these double digit winners I have been getting. My wife is also starting to get into the act telling me if your going to spend all this time on racing why be afraid to bet.I know why they say it's not good playing with SCARED MONEY.Jeff

True

great point Jeff

This is a battle that I have been fighting
for my complete time wagering
My battle is almost over, Not to your example
but I have that feeling too
Why not bet to your skill level ?
I ask that of myself I'm almost there but its a
fight that has hurt me many times
all i have is hope that soon I will overcome my own battle

hope for the best
Bill

I can only tell you that I only began winning at the races when I started betting horses that I came up with that paid $10 and up. It took me many years of getting past the very thing you are talking about and having the conviction to bet such horses. 2 things led to my change:

1) I got tired of long-term losing on short priced horses.

2) I was no longer afraid to lose a race (which of course you lose many when going for prices) but I wanted to start winning at the races long-term.

I wish you (Shoeless) the best of luck in turning the corner. It is very hard to do but I predict once you are convinced you have a method that produces winning long term results, it will become easier to bet the horses that produce those winnings. Don't let the last couple of days bring you down...use the results to convince yourself that your methods are solid and you will start betting them going forward.

I'm pulling for you.

Jim
