Place Betting on European Betting Exchanges

"For bettors living outside the United States, playing North American races on betting exchanges offers a wealth of advantages. "

I have always admired the notion of betting that the favorite won't win, called laying a bet. Also heard that you can bet with Betfair, and get half the WIN odds, by correctly calling the horse that will be first at the half way point. Saw that in The Racing Post when I was there last year.
