Spot Play

The 5 was #1 on Thoromation and the SP Pre-play
Using either the 1 adjust or 2 adjust This is a powerful spot play

Hi Bill,

Using Val4,looking at the pacelines...although it is the same 6.5 distance as this race, why did you choose line #1 ?...using line #1,horse #5 was third in Spec160 and Val4 BL/BL...
Using line # 2,Lakeside Sunset was top 2 in the Bottom Line/Betting Line ...

Bill,

I am curious about this:
I entered your pacelines in these horses, used # 1 -Automatic Adjustment ...but it did not come up the same as your Thoromation screen...I'm wondering why?
Here's the Thoromation SP screen, using your pacelines...

Maybe RDSS export feature to Energy handles it differently.
because just to make sure, I used advance Axlate to convert Trackmaster .exe files to .drf files.,and I also used BRIS .drf files to compare ...and both data files came out with the same Thoromation screens ,showing #6 Champ ahead and #5 Lake a close second...way different from Bill's.

Bill V. ;

Great shot of the old Entropy screen and program. It was my favorite program and wish it was still included or at least the final total numbers to see the difference in rankings . Rather than percent's from best etc.

NICE!!!!

Bill,

Using your pacelines and comparing it to your EXDC/Thoromation screens,it comes out different from yours.
First screen is the Instant Preplay screen that comes up...SP Deceleration.
Second screen is EXDC Deceleration.
Last screen is the Final Thoromation screen, when the horses have ran across the screen.

Hi Ray

Ist thanks for all the great work you do, I am so happy that you can use Thoromation and do so well,

Questions ,

Why line 1 for horse 5 ?

Step 1 who has the 5 best TPR from line 1?

Quote:
Top 5 TPR line 1

4, 6 ,2 ,5 ,7
Fulcrum POR EPR 84.0
The # 1 guideline for using Phase 1 is
Always rate the last line for every horse
first.

The 5 rates well on TPR off line 1

Line 1 is a (+) but what happened in the 3rd fraction?
Line 2 is a + paceline
The wire to wire win looks good. a
I knew Line 2 would rate the 5 better than line 1
Since I had already known line 1 had a decent TPR
I used it, I had a question about horse 5's form.
I saw the workout 11 days ago, this was a good sign that things were okay, but I was not sure. I decided to rate off line 1

When I saw the readouts I stayed with line 1

Ray, I think the reason your getting different readouts
could be because of two factors

1. I sent the lines from RDSS
The first thing I did was send these lines to ENTROPY

I used the 1 adjust, The 2 horse rated so poorly on
all the readouts and last on the sort I scratched it.

after I scratched the 2 reran the race in entropy, to the sort
Then I saved the file.

Then I opened EDXC/Thoromation and loaded the saved file from Entropy

Then I ran the race in thoromation using the 1 adjust
Then again with the 2 adjust to look for the spot play

Here are the lines the way RDSS sent them
Can you enter these lines with these numbers ? and see whay the 5-6 are flip-floping ?
