1st @ Woodbine

Let's take a stab at this very low level maiden claiming at Woodbine today.
I look for this Mike Doyle trained, and daughter of Kittens Joy to finally make her mark.

Race 1

Hi Jon

I missed this race I got set up here at DMR too late.
This horse won the race. What I would have looked at was the last line.
In the previous race at the MS level it did nothing. and was not bet at 40.5/1
They then dropped her to a MC 15/21 She made a nice middle move but faded to finish 6th
It must have signaled she needed a rest.
I would have rated her off the last line but with a + positive she would improve.
I saw this with the very good workout notations and spacing since the last race
The Furlong Per Day notation is very helpful

Furlong Per Day?

Bill V.

Thanks for the reply.

1. I used the last race for Dee Dee as I feel that Turf & Poly are equal, as well as the race from 8 months ago is just too far back - thoughts?

2. Interested in your Furlong Per Day idea.

As always, thanks for assisting.
Both fillies were 2-1, and we didn't miss much.

Happy Punting.

Notations

Hello Jon

On the workouts tab, I look for the FPD notation. A very positive rating of which is furlong per day.
You will also see a + or a - along with the FPD This horse is very special to me.
Along with the FPD he shows a +5 furlong workout. The SAR is a workout pattern Doc Sartin preferred. Ted and I collaborated on this readout and we named it SAR short for Sartin
The SCW1 SCW2 and SCW3 are very good workout patterns
