'Calibration Handicapping - The Next Level'

Is Jim Lehane still around? I'm interested in his book, but prefer an electronic copy for the iPad. I'd like to get in contact with him if possible. Looks like a good read.

Calibration Handicapping??

Hi, Jeebs - Good Afternoon

When I visited this Post, I also saw at the bottom a Thread started by Ted Craven, Last Post 09-01-2010 08:14 PM. It has the link:
http://www.free-horseracing-info.com...pping-cal.html

I'm very interested too about Jim Lehane's book, but you prefer an electronic copy for the iPad. Hoping to get more information on how to order.

Honestly, don't know if he is still around (he was sick) --but the book was very good in the areas of moves inside a race and form factors...

Also, I will mention he is a class guy --I bought his book and six months later my wife chucked it in the trash (she says by accident --but that is another story) ...I contacted Jim about it and he sent me another book free including the shipping....

He used to post at CJ's old site frequently --so you may want to contact him at pace advantage...

Jim is indeed still in business, and has released an update to his Calibration Handicapping book on his website, which DSL has helpfully provided above:

http://www.free-horseracing-info.com...pping-cal.html

The update is named Calibration Handicapping - The Next Level. His email is given in a link at the bottom of his web page and folks have told me they have communicated with him recently.

RDSS users will know that some of the 'moves' he has documented are included as markups on the Original Screen (with Jim's kind permission).

I don't know if he makes a digital version available.

Ted

Since I ordered Jim Lehane's book "Calibration Handicapping - The Next Level." Ted Craven is correct that Jim is indeed still in business. When I get in contact with him by Email (or by phone), I will ask if he makes a digital version that is available.

Received Jim Lehane's book "Calibration Handicapping - The Next Level. Now, I'll have to set aside the time to read and understand it in the areas of moves inside a race and form factors... one must be proficient in each of the 3 (three) conditions of contender selection, valuation and strategic action. That's been the purpose of this book, to get you to that level.
