First comments go to race conditions.

At first glance it looks like a NL2 life claimer for 12,500, But it really is open to any 3 YO, no matter how many wins AND 4 yo that have not won twice lifetime - big condition.

Horses with multiple wins are 3-2/7, 8-3/12, 9-2/9. Note they all raced vs each other in tandem.

By my count there are 1 Early, 6 E/P and 3 P types in this race.

There is a last race tandem where they ran 8-3-9-5 (where the 5 was beaten solidly, in its only race against 3+ competition. its win was against all 3YO

Horses racing at or below their recent class are the 1-3-5-6-8-9.

Horses racing in a higher class than previously raced are 2-4-7-10

Before scratches and PL and BPP info my contenders are 2-3-8-9. The 2 while rising in class off its maiden win has 2nd best 2nd fraction. Low win rate for class jumpers but consider until further notice.

More tomorrow.

1 L 2 Toss
2 L 1 Has ability get lead on this bunch and to force others out of their game, PP a plus.
3 L 2
4 L 3 NTL & won't get it, off 255 days and steps up +2 classes, toss
5 L 2
6 L 4 Back to dirt and appears against a lesser POR today
7 L 3 1st time Gelding, UNKNOWN Factor, decent w/o 31 July, up 2+classes & poor
trainer
8 L 1
8 L 1
9 L 2
10 L 1 Toss

Top contenders not in order: 2,3,5,7,8,9, All contenders seem to run 58.2 to 58.4 for 5F and a traffic jam there. Racing luck, break etc. could play a key role.

Before scratches 2-5-8-9 final order.

This could be one heck of a race. I see pace pressure on the 8 and while consistent, the horse consistently runs a good one and backs off a little next out and then runs another good sprint. 8 beaten the 9 twice!? but so has the 3.

My contenders are 2-3-8-9 still in no order. It looks to me like the 3 was making a move last out and took up, while making ground in the previous two calls.

The two has the 2nd best 2nd fraction and the best 3rd fraction. I like the 3 and 2, in a blanket finish. Might play a super for $2.40 with my four contenders. Hope for a price with the top two.

Good luck.
