GPX 05-31-19 My Database Analysis & Strategy

GPX 05-31-19 My Database Analysis & Strategy

I will bet on any of my listed horses if they are 5-1 odds or better but will allow for last minute odds fluctuations (down to 4-1 odds at the gate).

Race -1

Race -1

My database came up with the winner but the odds were not acceptable for me to bet on it.

Race -2 Results

The (6) was odds 0n at 3-5 at the gate and did not meet my requirements.
The (3) was 5-1 at the gate and was my bet.

R5 Results

I didn't bet my choice. The Odds were too low for me.

nice

Hey Bill H.

Nice work, I admire your ability to wait for your price,
We come from different beliefs, I am no longer a win bet guy.

I have moved away into horizontals.

In horizontals its important to have at least 2 priced horses
in a pick 4 or pick 5. Horizontals are a new world but it's profitable.

I would like to have some of your wins in my mix.

Good job , Nice reporting

Bill

We all have our ways of playing the game.
I have been at it for 65 years.
It has been my experience that over the long run most of us will lose money when you bet the exotics and multiple low odds horses to win. In my opinion, two or even 3 horse betting can be profitable when the odds are favorable and you can get a price. I try to Keep It at one or two in almost all cases.
I let my track database dictate which contenders show me a positive expectancy.

Bill,
You need s good database software to model the tracks that you play.
Most of these programs are obsolete and won't work on anything above Windows XP. A partition can be used on the newer operating systems..
The problem with the older Database software's is that in most cases you cannot re-register them because the providers are long gone. Hopefully, my XP laptop will last a few more years. If not, I have someone that can get me another one or put a VM partition on a later model.

I will try and post my selections for GPX
When I can and possibly you will evaluate and use some in your horizontal wagers.
