Parx pixx for 10/20

Probable off track as it rained some throughout the night. Right now, the turf races are still on.

r1 -- 4-7-2-5

r2 -- 1-9-2-6

r3 -- 2-4-6-5

r4 -- 8-2-10-12

r5 -- 8-3-10-1

r6 -- 1-2-5-6

r7 -- 1-8-5-4 (Longshot 13)

r8 -- 2-1-8-6

r9 -- 5-4-1-6

r10 -- 3-2-6-7 (Longshot 4)

Thank you and good luck to one and all. Make all your bets a winning one.

R5 #8 had a huge drop in odds in the final minute...10-1 to 6-1 and made it look easy after flying out of the gate! Great job reckless!

Thanks, Jimmy.

While going into the gate I looked at the tote board and it had just clicked from 12-1 to 10-1. I saw that as a very good sign in a field with a 3-5 shot and 2-1 second choice.

Then they sent away and I was now getting worried that my horse was being pressed by a 90-1 or so longshot.

When he opened up a little I saw he was now 6-1!! Yikes! I know, I am very thankful I hit a winner plus the exacta, but ... It was a very good day all day.

Quick and dirty recap for 10/20 pixx

Never did this before so apologies if it sounds too unwieldy.

r1 -- 3 of 4 picks hit the board with top choice 2nd to a 30-1 winner

r2 -- Top pick won and paid $6.20; hit exacta for $19.80 and the 3rd and 4th picks flipped for a $39.11 superfecta for one thin dime. Did not hit the trifecta, sad to say.

r3 -- Top pick finished third and 4th horse finished 4th. How about that.

r4 -- Not close with 3rd choice finishing 4th, and a scratch.

r5 -- Top pick won at $14.20; odds-on 2nd choice was second for $28.80 exacta.

r6 -- Top choice won at 6-5. To prove r3 was no fluke, my 4th choice actually finished 4th again! lol

r7 -- Top choice finished 2nd. My 2nd choice was scratched. Third choice finished 3rd at long odds. Longshot thought was scratched.

r8 -- Top choice #2 didn't lift a hoof. 2nd choice #1 won like a champ at 3-5. Longshot 3rd choice finished 2nd and paid $15.80 to place. I did hit the exacta for $86.40.

r9 -- Top choice #5 was 2nd; second pick #4 won at $9.20. And in the third slot, #1, came in 3rd. Hit exacta for $44.60 and .50 trifecta for $60.65.

r10 -- Top pick #3 finished second but was no match for 3rd choice #7 who paid nice $11.20. Did hit the exacta as I often box my top 3 picks in exacta as a saver and then key the top 1 or 2 top picks depending on odds at the time I bet. $1 exacta paid $26.40. Also hit the DD for $54.20 2 times.

All in all a very, very good day as most of my picks actually did some running for a change!

Thank you Tim.

Hope you make selections for Wednesday; it's a very nice and interesting 11-race card.

I always learn from your picks and from the comments of the gang here.

Your results were very good. It's nice to see some Parx players starting to post. We all can help each other along the way. I think I finally solved my problem so hope to be in action again tomorrow. Hopefully they keep the turf race on.
