Catching up with Derby Day screenshots of RDSS 2.1 and the Rx screen analysis.

The FTS winner of race 3 was highly ranked on its Power Number (in this case, TwinSpires ProfitLine) and very well ranked in all tote board metrics - would always be a top win bet in a high class Maiden Allowance race). Working on getting FTS horses to show up on Analysis screens.

Bob, Top 3 VDC (with a few ties) has hit 3 of 5 races so far, not bad. Hope you caught a few!

Time to start betting, for me.

Ted

CD Race 6

It is very hard (foolish?) to bet against #1 Tepin in this race, winner in fine style (and at a nice price, thank you!) of last year's Breeders Cup Mile.

So I won't (nor bet on her).

Fun tote numbers on Tepin:

CD Race 6

D'oh, should have mortgaged the house for Show

Seriously, great race by Tepin. Interestingly, a nice profit was available on the Place horse (i.e. betting Place/Show), using some tote analysis: 3rd best Tx but at the best prices (see tote image above).

Reminds me of a favorite horse racing story of mine. Two horseplayers are watching a movie and they come to the big "Match Race" scene. The first horseplayer proposes that for fun they bet on the race and he chooses horse #1. The other horseplayer is left with the #2 and the scene plays out with the #2 winning. The backer of the #1 says "I've got to admit it but I had already seen the movie. The backer of the #2 looks at him quizically and asks "if you already saw the movie why did you pick #1. In typical horseplayer logic #1 responds "I thought he was ready this time".

Gotta love this game

Wide open race - IF you allow the #6 needs a race to return to top form after 300 days off.

Pulling the trigger on Win: 8-1. Exacta: 8-5-1 / 8-5-1-6 (Holding my nose on the 7 and 3 ...)

Matchup analysis of OTE runners closest to the fastest pace, compared to Projected Pace, might have helped here ...
