Pacelines

Has anyone ever put in a bunch of lines for your contenders using either Val or Spec and then letting F6 pick the best line. Then taking those lines you get and run them thru Energy to see what you come up with.Jeff

I have tried this with synergism and results were not good.i can not comment on energy software. if you have validator my advice is to use that as a stand alone.

No and yes
I used the original pacelines from Val and spec
and entered them into Energy/EXDC
I did enter them on Spec-Val then took the top 5
total energy then entered those 5 into EXDC
but I didn't use the F6 or the adjusted normalized equalized
lines

Jeff,
This idea is good with K Gen - to get contenders and repsresentative pacelines.

I tried what you suggested when I firrt starting learning Val - results were not too good.

Jeff, I would agree with Tom on using KGEN for pacelines and contenders. Using the F6 in Validator in theory would seem to work, but I think KGEN or AODDS would work better.
