For a change of pace from a lot of early speed lets go with a dogs breakfast from PRX. Nov 14, Race 4. No early to speak of, a sprinter with no route lines in a route, a turfer with no dirt lines going on dirt.
Good luck, Pook |

Pace: 24.6-48.8-112.8 I like the 3 on lead or closeup for the win. |

Race 4
Nasty race. NW4L alot of times in these races we see alot of trainer moves. One of them is the #5 drop back where it belongs and has competitive pace figs. The other horse i like is #3 a sprinter stretching out and finishes by gaining in the end which the hat wanted to see with a sprinter going to a route. Plus his final times are much better then the routers half mile times which are pretty slow.
My bets are 3-5 Bob |

Prx #4
Thanks for putting this up Pook. It's an interesting race. Coming from PRX, it presents interesting challenges since the purses are so high there.
The 3 is obviously the sprinter you're referring to. She may get some company up front from the 10. I think the race will run OTE. The others: 2: OTE from a middle position. Last line shows she can run at the end. 4: Last two lines ugly. OUT. 5: Does her best running near the lead. Won from the second position. OUT. 6: Only good S type race against good pace was on WF surface. Last two races poor. OUT 7: Good S type who won last. Will be too far back. OUT. 8: Have to believe she has had opportunities to run on dirt from turf races rained out. OUT. 9: Deeply sustained type horse with lots of ugly races. OUT. The 2 is my choice to win the race. |

47/112.8/144.2 Most are eliminated for me through slower tandems. I see the 3 wiring. 3 Pook |

The routers look very slow to me. The sprinter projects a nice easy lead here and will have every chance to lead all the way. Stamina is the only question as I usually like to see sprinters in routes who can close a little bit. I'd love to find a fast OTE runner at a nice price, especially given my standing in the contest, but I don't see one. I'll take the 3.

Tim,
It's just not fair man. You are the lone winner with a beautiful deduction and analysis and instead of the ML price of $10 you get $3.40. %@*//&6@!!!! There is no way that horse is worth betting at that price. Most of us had the #3 who had some kind of compromised start where she burned up all her energy trying to catch the 10. She did have the proper permit.......Burn Permit ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry about the crap price but congrats anyway. Pook |
