Dan, check out the Excel Export capabilities of RDSS (FAQ). All factors in RDSS plus finish results and mutuels. Add in your own wagers if you like for a comprehensive modeling/wagering log.

I agree the existing tools cold be enhanced and streamlined. But I think many RDSS users do now similar to what you are describing.

I think the only way you can know where you have an advantage is keeping records and that is something that is difficult for many of us to do over the long run. On dozens of occasions, I have created spreadsheets with 200+ recent races to find out where I am in my handicapping, but invariably the huge time commitment this takes leads me to eventually abandon the effort.

The reason this requires so much time is simple, by the time you transfer the data from your handicapping program to the spreadsheet, then put in the race type and data, then put in the results, even if you are fast typist like myself, you have spent longer recording the bets and results than on handicapping the race itself.

What would be wonderful for me, is if my software could take my handicapping results, based on my paceline selection, then add the race data that the software already has, and combine those with the results from trackmaster or other web source and create a printout or table that I could use to analyze my advantage over certain tracks and distances and surfaces.
True. And, for me, I would ideally like the track condition, termperature and weather. I pay close attention to results, but I must admit that my record keeping is not yet where I want it to be. I am spending so much time in refining my process that I don't have time left to keep good records. Maybe soon.

Awesome!

This is great. I generally just use the aspects of RDSS that mimic Synthesis, I see that I am vastly under-utilizing this program.

Thank you.

NOT if that one is 6/5
