GP Race 5

Hello Bill,

I am going to Gulfstream on Saturday. I live about a 50 minute drive
north. I already capped the 5th race but I strictly use RDSS. My picks for
the 5th are the #3 and #9 for win with the #2 somewhere ITM.
The #2 will probably go off at less than 5/2 considering it is a G1 dropper.
I will also consider the #8 for an exotic play. I am a sucker for the 10 cent
Super. By the way GP has a great buffet.

Gp 1/09

My picks for the other 6f races are:

Race 6: Win 1 & 2. Include the 7 and 8 for the exotics.
The #1 is my key horse for the tri and super as it is the only
horse that won at G3. It is also the earlist and first for TE, E/Ep.

Race 7: 1, 2, 3 and 4 and include the 8 in the super.
the 1 and 4 were both ITM for G1. The 2 and 3 were ITM for G2.
The 4 is in form after a 98 day layoff. The trainer has been working
the horse at 5 and 6F so his intent is to win. I have the 4 as late on the
E/L. Since the M/L is 2/1 this is probably a hide for win. For win
I would bet the 1 and then based on the odds it is between the 2 and
3 for win.

Race 9: 5-7-8. 5 and 7 for win.

Good luck to both of us,

Ernie

GP 5th, after scratches 6F

There are a few scratches in these 5 sprints, so maybe some trifectas and supers can be had for little expense.

The first 5....

My analysis:

Lots of horses from different places. Fortunately CD, Kee, Bel, PHa are all about equal track speed, with CRC and Tam 6 or 7 ticks slow.

FPLR is #5

2-EP, L2
3-E, L1
4-P, L1
5-E, L1 PACE LINE 22.2-44.6-56.3
7-P, L1
8-P, L1
9-P, L1

5 CRUSHES 3 EARLY, 3 OUT
7 SLOW VS. 5, 7 OUT

The 8 and 9 are better than the 4, 4 OUT

Leaves 2-5-8-9. 9 coming from maiden win, is deficient in 2f, so can't keep up, 9 Out.

Leaving 2-5-8

5 looks strong on lead. Whether you use the 2's mile time from Belmont or its sprint time, it looks to press, but the closer presser looks to be the 8. Who knows, maybe the 8 is good enough. My prime choice is 5-8-2 before looking at odds.

good luck

Well, what do I know. Finish 9-3-5-2. Using last lines the win place is on top. So I guess I misunderstood the relative track speeds.

There are several more left to win!
