Anyone know why this data is no longer showing up in data?

Today's weight carried, dam and sire info is available only on the day of racing, by retrieving from TwinSpires when you assemble the race. Historically, these data points were not part of the Sartin Methodology, though they were added in for general purpose information.

Understood

Thanks for the info. I am not yet an expert and still chasing after many ups and downs with this horse racing thing. I do put some value into weight and or jockey change (as well as distance, surface etc.) when selecting a perceptor value... "change" is they absolute key to making money at GGF. Sire, dam and purchase price have to be considered when breaking down first time starters.

CD cancelled racing for 6/16 due to heat. Need to be aware of ALL track conditions, including cancellations.

I agree with you, but don't see that a late cancellation would effect data. If I remember correctly, the data isn't purchased from CD? I may be wrong, but also highly doubt that.

In RDSS' Config Screen, if the Get TS Ratings/Scratches box is checked, and if the track is indeed running and not cancelled, then on the day of racing when you assemble a race or click the Refresh TS Ratings button on the Entries screen, the pedigree and weight info (and Prime Power and Profit Line ratings) are downloaded and integrated with the other data from TrackMaster and displayed in RDSS.

If this doesn't happen for you, please email me and I will help you get it working, no worries.

That pedigree and weight data IS provided in the downloaded TrackMaster data file and could be (and will be, eventually) derived that way. For now though, since we were getting other proprietary ratings daily from TwinSpires, it was easy to also fetch and display that available weight/pedigree data.

I hope that clarifies things.

Ted

Ted as always thank you so much for the wonderful support! The TS Ratings/Scratches box was not checked! I have no idea how this came about... I am on the only one using this program. Anyway, Thank you.
