Woodbine Sprint - Saturday 8/20 - Projected Pace with an "E" runner

**First I am so sorry I have NOT replied to the many PM's in my box - started a new job and moved out of state for starters _ I am happy but life has changed remarkably and racing outside of a few weekend warrior days is on the back burner. I will reply to ALL of the messages and hope everyone is happy, healthy and ENGAGED in this life experience!**

This Saturday (8/20) here is the 5th race from Woodbine going 6f on the Polytrack surface. I think you will see there is an E runner who goes in ABOUT a 22.2 (in fifths) first fraction. Match em up, trust your FIRST instincts ( you will NEVER be wrong even if you are in this instance according to "Hat") and have FUN!

Woodbine 8/20

Good to see you again Richie. Hope your new job goes well.

In this race, it looks like the 6 and 10 match up pretty evenly on the front-end so I'm looking for an off the pace horse. The 1 and 4 ran in a tandem race that looks faster than anything else. The 1 was never in it. The 4 fought through the first two calls, won as a presser in a previous race and won as an S type deep in the PP's.

My choice is the 4.

Tim

Hey Richie, all the best with all you have going right now...

I agree with Tim's explanation on this one. The 4 fought for the first two calls against a faster pace than the 6 and 10 can handle, which doesn't bode well for them. The 4 has won from as far back as 5th and 6th place so running OTE shouldn't be a problem either. The 4 is closer to the pace than the other OTE runners. I like the 4...

Major Marvel (#8) should be able to handle Ronaldino (#7), as he's shown the ability to win at longer distances.

Dance to my Beat (#6) could surprise
