Tom, Thanks for your interests...I am not the person to answer this question; maybe when Bill V. has some extra energy- he can answer your question with more clarity regarding Doc Sartin's suggestion. Regarding the Preakness Stakes, I can post several examples where one might focus on: There is a previous article regarding using part of the Kentucky Derby pace line. The entire Derby pace line is not a good line to draw conclusions. Link: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9203 The fractions up to the "Mile" marker are useful to evaluate the pace line. Hope this can help in future Preakness stakes when evaluating the Kentucky Derby pace line. Good skills |

Team,
Do you think Vino can do this? His Wood victory is very strong. Happy Punting Jon Last edited by Mr.Pagine; 05-05-2018 at 11:40 AM. |

Derby Recap
When the track went from "my" to "sly" I was so wrapped up in the moment - playing GP & BEL that i forgot to change the winner's running line to his mud race 2 back. using that line he was #1 in HE-AP-EP-SP which is the hallmark of a Top horse. I did use him to win and in the exacta in the Future Pool 3 while everyone was focused on McKenzie and Bolt d'Oro. Caught both the $14.40 win and the $245.80 ex. I forgot that I even made the bet, until I checked my balance! Hey, that was 2 months ago. I can't remember everything and I usually don't. Now we await the litigants for the next leg at Pim.
I'm back playing GP and TAM today like yesterday was just a distant memory. Good Luck. Omar. P.S. I did catch the #3 to place in Race 10 at CD. Paid $27.80 but i'm still fighting mental illness by not backwheeling my longshots in the exacta, only used him under 2 horses. So I don't catch a $1753.60. Oh well. Every morning I wake up trying to figure out why i'm still POOR. Last edited by omar; 05-06-2018 at 07:53 AM. Reason: p.s._ing |

One other point
Back in 2013 i saw two very fast front runners not lift a hoof in a very sloppy derby: Verrazano and Golden Cents. Orb loved the track that day and then bowed out gracefully. I still think this track helped the winner and hampered the closers coupled with a slower 2nd half of race. I'm definitely going to check Thoro-Graph numbers for this race to see how the horse's form changed. For me it's a cheat sheet. I pay $5 a race, i just buy selected races. Also bris's ultimate pp's race summary for $3 to see how the track is playing and the Master Magician because i handicap very fast with it and Bris's single data file($1) for my PacePlus program which gives me my TPR #'s. Later, Omar.
