I use many things that I have learned over many years of handicapping. Things such as suspicious drop downs, trainer moves,% Med, parts of the match up , false favorites, deceleration and form cycle analysis to name a few.

Thanks Mitch I appreciate it. On the RDSS program is there a tab to move them to secondary contenders?

Stugots - Here is the documentation for moving pacelines (moving horses) between Primary, Secondary and non-Contender groups on the Analysis screen - from the RDSS2.1 Documentation Thread: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showpos...0&postcount=10 (see point #6).

There are 3 places in the software where you can specify what Contender Group a horse is in:

- on the Entries screen, the Contender checkboxes

- on each horse's Header screen, again the same Contender checkboxes

- via mouse clicks on the checkbox at the left-edge of each Analysis screen (i.e. the changed method for Rdss2.1.048 explained in the updated Docs per the link above).

Hope that helps!

Ted

move

Thank you Ted.
I use the feature for my Phase 1 work

I click on any horse who is not in the top 3 EPR, LPR or CPR , or more than 5 points from the best rated TPR horse

You made a great tool .

Bless
Bill

race 2

After I move contenders from win to secondary , from the TPR screen,, I go to the RX screen.
Horse # 3 John's Legacy is the # 1 horse. I passed the race
based on my notes during the pace line selection procedure.

Since Horse 3 was a contender, and the only reason I did not bet this race
was final odds, In these case I enter the results into my model.
even though I did not bet.

However I would not enter this race If I had only seen the result chart

Because than I would not have my own ideas about the match up and the odds movements of the tote board

Thanks Bill, I really enjoy looking at your screen shot and notes. Makes this much easier to understand. I took some time off but I am looking to come back. Do you have any new videos on this?
