Yes it will along with CR and CR+. The flip side is perhaps horses will pay more.

It's hard to figure out exactly what those numbers represent. It looks like a lot of that money is "Other Sources". A chart for a maiden race there today listed "Available Money" as $126,800, but said the "Value of Race" (i.e., the "purse"?) was $85,600 (US$62,535). Look at some of the charts for Woodbine to see if you can figure out what they are doing. The charts do list everything in Canadian and US dollars.

MikeB:

Those other sources are special incentives given to the winner if the horse qualifies. Such as State Bred's, ( horses bred in that State) this one also can be seen in the US. I.e. at CD they may have an incentive for their State Bred horses in open company or a race not restricted to State Bred's. The winner would get that extra money if bred in KY in addition to the win portion of the money. It to support the breeding industry within that state.

Other source money can go to the person or farm that bred the horse, owners, finishing P or S or even last etc. etc.

Bottom line is if the horse qualifies that extra money will be reflected in the winners share of the purse and its record, if not it only receives the stated winners share and no money from other sources.
